Byran’s musical journey began early, participating in talent shows and singing in his church choir. Though he started as a dancer, he eventually transitioned to full-time music after discovering his true passion.

In 2015, he launched his music blog and brand, originally called Bellzvibes and now known as 234Hypes.com. In 2016, he won the “Most Promising Blogger of the Year” award at the Best of African Entertainment Awards (BAE).

Byran officially entered the music scene in 2023, releasing his debut single, Godzilla, followed by Chop Life, which gained widespread recognition. These singles paved the way for his debut EP, which was released on March 1, 2024. The EP features five tracks, blending themes of betrayal, love, and personal experiences.

The standout track, Drowning, is a slow-tempo HipHop/Rap song exploring feelings of betrayal, with its memorable opening line, “I got to save myself from drowning.” Another key track, Intoxicated, showcases the unpredictable nature of love with an irresistibly smooth groove. The EP also features Higher, a vibrant Amapiano/Afrobeat tune that leaves a lasting impression.

The EP combines sophisticated songwriting with top-notch production, solidifying Byran Bellz’s place in the Nigerian music scene. His raw lyricism and mid-tempo beats create an engaging listening experience. In recognition of his talents, Byran was nominated for “Rookie of the Year” at the 2023 Galaxy Music Awards (GMA).
